Booth #: 28, 29
Bio: My family and I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin and at our booth we sell vegetables of all sorts and flower arrangements.
History: My family and I have been participating in the Broadway Farmer's Market for about three years now.
Product Description: At my booth, I will be selling: beets, carrots, radishes, potatoes, lettuce, broccoli, sugar snap peas, beans, swiss chards, spinach, cucumbers, squashes, cabbage, tomatoes, zucchini, brussel sprouts, eggplants, snow peas, bell peppers, jalapenos, chili peppers, onions, green onions, cilantro, basil, mint, banana peppers. For the first few weeks of the market, the following produce should be ready to sell: lettuce, radishes, carrots, beets, onions, mint, basil, and perhaps some sugar snap peas. I will also be selling flower arrangements with sunflowers, zinnias, eucalyptus, amaranthus, bells of Ireland, campanula, celosia, cosmos, lilies, larkspur, snapdragons, gladiolas, and statices. In order to maintain the healthy growth of these produce, my family and I drive out to our garden land and tend it mostly everyday; especially on weekends. We have rented land of about 3-4 acres and each day that we get a chance to go to the garden, it takes anywhere from 5 hours to even 12 hours of gardening to keep our produce growing healthy. On each day of the farmer’s market, we arrive early at our gardens to freshly pick the vegetables and the flowers so that the customers will be able to buy fresh produce. After we pick them, we head home and everything is washed in water, by hand, for cleanliness and appeal.
